Welcome to MyCPL. This website is used to develop and submit credit requests to colleges that may award credit. Upon creating your profile and creating a request, this website will distribute that information to the college of your selection. By using this service, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions below.

Your Account / Registration

Use of the services provided through this website requires a unique account created by you. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account and password used to access the MyCPL website. It is possible that your account may be terminated and that collected profile and credit request information may be destroyed.

Fees and Payment

A fee may be collected prior to the creation of each credit request. This fee covers costs associated with assessing your prior learning and does not guarantee that any credits will be awarded. No physical product is delivered as part of this fee. This fee is nonrefundable.

No payment card information is stored on this website. Payment card information is used during the payment process and then not retained on the MyCPL system.

Use of Email

You are responsible for the confidentiality of the email account provided in the user profile for the MyCPL website. By using this service, you agree to permit information relative to the credit request process to be communicated to you through the provided email account. Information about the status of your credit request, reasons for credit acceptance or denial, or other communications pertinent to the credit request process will be sent to this email account.

Information Collection, Use and Sharing

Through your voluntary creation of a user profile and the credit request process, this website collects information about you. This information can include, but is not limited to, your personal address, telephone contacts, email address, work history, educational history, etc.

You may update your profile information as necessary. Throughout the credit request process, information within a credit request may be locked and restricted for edit. Information collected through this website may be stored indefinitely or destroyed at any time.

All information provided through this website will be made available to appropriate representatives at the college you select. Your information will not be sold. Unless required to do so by law, in connection with any ongoing legal proceedings, or to defend our legal rights, your information will not be distributed to anyone other than those necessary to fulfill your request.

Security

All use of this website that includes the transmission of your personal data is encrypted through the HTTPS standards. Information stored on MyCPL systems is only made available to technical employees on a need-to-know basis in order to perform system maintenance duties. The computers on which MyCPL systems are operated are stored and maintained in a secure environment.
